Welcome to CLAWAR2021

The organising committee of the conference decided at their meeting of 16 April 2021 that given the restrictions on travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic the CLAWAR 2021 conference will be held virtually. Further details of the virtual facility will be provided soon.

CLAWAR 2021 is the 24th issue of the International Conference Series on Climbing and Walking Robots and the Support Technologies for Mobile Machines. The conference will be organized in collaboration with the Kwansei Gakuin University (KGU), Takarazuka, Japan in Virtual Participation Mode during 30 August – 01 September 2021. The technical programme of CLAWAR 2021 will feature plenary, regular and special/invited sessions.

Original contributions are invited in the general area of mobile robotics, covering climbing, walking, flying robots with assistance and service provided to humans and machines. The conference will cover analysis (modelling and simulation) techniques, design approaches, and practical applications and realisations of robotic systems. Support technologies for realisation of such systems, associated economic, ethical and social considerations are integral part of the conference theme. The CLAWAR 2021 conference proceedings will be published by Springer in the AISC Springer Series and will be indexed in Scopus.
